Christian marriage is the lifelong union of two people who promise to love and care for each other, make vows to do so before God and the Church, and receive the grace and blessing of God to help them fulfill their vows. We believe in the importance of Christian marriage for any couple, no matter their gender.

At St. Luke’s, we typically officiate weddings for people who are connected to our community, usually (though not always) as members. We have created documents to help people seeking marriage to begin thinking about the shape of the liturgy they would like (The service of Holy Matrimony from the Book of Common Prayer and Scripture Readings for Weddings).
