How
Amazing!
How
amazing the road I ascend
Never seeing beyond the bend
Yet knowing that whatever's up ahead
By Adventure and Faith I am led. |
|
|
|
How
delightful to watch it unfold.
Nuances and shades - soft and bold.
The heights, the depths,
the
long-stretching plains
Who can fathom all that remains?
|
How
wondrous that joy comes like dew
As I greet each morning anew.
All the lessons I've learned
spur
me on to new heights
And unhindered I see splendid sights. |
|
|
|
How
surprising
when
all's said and done,
It has not been only for fun.
For deep character's there
from
the myriad of trials -
What a grace has been gained
from
the miles.

How
astounding
that my life can be
A mirror
that others may see |
|
|
|

|
A reflection of God
and a light on their way
So I rise to greet
each glorious day!

At age 47, sometimes
the events in my life are overwhelming as they bring me to new levels
of maturity and growth. It can be a struggle to let go and cooperate
with the process, but the Lord weaves me, like threads into a tapestry,
into a bigger picture. I am motivated to go on by the desire to
have the character of Jesus show through me like a bright light.
And so I welcome each step that I am called to walk until that character
is formed in me. And How Amazing! God is doing it! |
